Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"We visited this winery for lunch and wine tasting in March 2025 from the UK. The service, food and wine were all exemplary. They went completely out of their way to support me when I lost my passport, and even contacted the tourist police and liaised with them on my behalf. I cannot thank them enough and am incredibly grateful for their kindness and understanding. I can't wait to return in the future, and only wish I lived nearer! Highly recommend"
"One of my best dining experiences while in Mendoza. Service is impeccable. Food presentation is outstanding."
"Amazing team that goes above and beyond during service! Had the 3 course lunch and the single vineyard wine pairings. Food was good and well executed but defintely a little pricey for a 3 course menu. The single vineyard wines were interesting to taste the difference in terrior but the star was defintely the service by the team! Highly recommended to make a reservation in advance"
"Did a 10 course dinner with wine pairing. Expectations were not met. The food quantity was excessive, the quality massively lacked behind the Michelin star expectations we had. Some dishes had the same sauce. Fairly unimaginative. Compared with the other starred restaurant in Mendoza this was a few leagues below. Still a nice place, but don’t expect anything sensational."
"I will definitely return! The experience was amazing from the first minute that we were received with a courtesy cup of wine while we were accommodated by the personnel. The place is amazing with great spots to take pictures. The wine was outstanding as it also was the warm service, and the lunch. I went with a group of friends to celebrate the birthday of one of them that was so fun since there was also live music playing by a guitarist that played lot of songs that we asked for. The personal also brought us a cake for our friend’s birthday!"
"Absolutely wonderful restaurant with great wines and a lovely atmosphere! We did the sunset experience with antour and dinner and it was amazing!"
"Wine is truly the star of the show here. We tried the 10-step tasting menu, and the wine pairing was an excellent showcase of Argentina’s world-class wines. The Bonarda and Gran Enemigo were unforgettable highlights. The food, however, didn’t quite live up to the same standard. In my opinion, it falls short of Michelin-level expectations—leaning heavily on stews and slow-cooked dishes, which isn’t what you typically hope for when dining in Argentina"
"Visiting Casa Vigil was an amazing experience. The place is beautiful, the food is delicious (and not too expensive for what it is) and the service is exceptional. Gian, Bruno, and the new sommelier (whose name I can't remember right now, sorry!) were super kind, knowledgeable, and just great to hang out with. To anyone visiting Mendoza and looking to drink some wine and have a good time, this is the place."
